What a leather backpack manufacturer has to get right
Backpacks carry weight on the body all day, so comfort and strength matter as much as looks. An all-leather pack is beautiful but heavy; a canvas body with leather straps, base and trims is lighter and easier on price. We help you choose the balance that fits your customer before a pattern is cut.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our MOQ starts at 50 pieces per style, which makes MKS a practical partner for startups and small brands testing a first collection as well as established labels running repeat orders of several thousand units.
Should our backpack be leather or canvas?
Leather looks richer and ages well, but it adds weight and cost. Canvas with leather trims is lighter, more affordable and still feels premium. Many brands offer both in the same shape. We can sample the same pattern in each so you can compare weight, feel and price side by side.
Can you make laptop backpacks?
Yes. Tell us the device sizes you want to fit and how much padding and organisation you need, and we build the laptop sleeve and pockets to that spec. The first prototype is usually ready in 5–7 days for you to test with your own laptop.
How long does sampling and production take?
Prototypes are typically ready in 5–7 days once the design and materials are confirmed. Bulk production takes 4–8 weeks depending on quantity and finish, and orders ship FOB Kolkata.
Can you put our brand name and packaging on the products?
Yes. Everything we make for partners is private label — debossed or embossed logos, custom hardware, woven or printed labels, hangtags, dust bags and branded packaging are all produced to your spec.
